KS LIGHTING GROUP

KS Lighting Group / KS Lampeskærme is a Danish lampshade company established by Kaj Simonsen back in 1976. The company started small, but through diligence and expertise it developed to become one of the largest in its field. Back in the build-up phase there were many Danish manufacturers of lampshades, it is different today.

For the last three decades, it has been Kaj Simonsen's descendants who have run the company, but by implementing more lighting products in the product portfolio, the ownership has been expanded to also have an external partner, to ensure the right know-how.

The company's DNA is still found in the lampshades, where the development of own products, for the most part, has an element that fits with the original DNA.   

The customers are many and we are very proud of the level. We sell our products through the leading businesses within lighting, furniture & interiors. Private labels are also produced for other innovative companies. Last, but not least, our ambition is to be the interior designer/architect's and designer's preferred partner when creating beautiful solutions for private homes, hotels, restaurants and businesses.     

We believe in the sustainability of making a long-lasting quality product. This is ensured by using the best materials and trying to shop as locally as possible.
